SETTE COLLI

1960, Febraury 14th – 2025, February 14th
A look at the past to design the future
The idea of building a cooperative winery in Moncalvo was conceived in 1935 by Maurizio Ferrio, Professor of Agriculture, during a meeting held in the Town Hall of the city, together with Dr Guido Saetti. They urged farmers to work towards the creation of a cooperative winery in order to better manage the progress of winemaking techniques and the demands of the market on a large scale.
Construction work at Sette Colli winery began in 1935, but due to the war, it was not completed until 1960, with the signing of the deed of incorporation on Valentine's Day. The winery was named SETTE COLLI because the winegrowers came from seven villages in the surrounding hills.
Today, Sette Colli continues to produce wine according to the philosophy that has always been at the heart of the company: making wine as you would at home. Now more than ever, the winery is focused on quality and improvement, thanks to the creation of new products and new labels.
We organise guided tours for groups of tourists and visitors, with tastings of our wines paired with typical local products.
Then, in 2024, the winery became involved in contemporary art, and we participated at the first edition of the Germinale Monferrato Art Fest.
