CASCINA MONTARIOLO

Founded in 2007, Cascina Montariolo was born from passion for the land and wine of Pirola family. Our family-run winery lies at the heart of the Monferrato region of Piedmont in Alfiano Natta. On over 4 hectares of vineyards, we cultivate native Piedmontese grapes with which we produce the region's most renowned wines: Barbera d’Asti, Piemonte Grignolino, Monferrato Dolcetto and Monferrato Freisa. “Our mission is to offer people who drink our wines some small wine jewels” says Patrizia Pirola, co-owner of the winery. “We are constantly seeking to improve the quality of our wines through careful management from the vine to the cellar; at the same time, we strive to minimize the environmental impact of our activities, such as using renewable energy systems”. Quality and sustainability are at the heart of what we do.
